Material Coordinator (Offshore)

Our customer is looking for a Material Coordinator for an accommodation platform in the North Sea. The Material Coordinator is responsible for the deck and engine room stock control and requisition of spare parts and stores. In addition, the Material Coordinator is responsible for general logistic activities in accordance with the company policies.

Salary: 2500 - 2800 EUR monthly

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that accurate stock records are maintained and available at all times
  • Any task required by the OIM or his deputy during an emergency situation
  • Acquisition of deck and engine room spares and any other required article
  • Keep up-to-date required outfit of spares and stores
  • Good housekeeping in stores office and warehouse
  • Acting as onboard computer system administrator
  • Ensure that all goods are supplied and requested, where applicable, with relevant data e.g. COSHH data sheets, certificates
  • Arraying out a yearly stock check
  • Accurately cargo manifesting and completion of associated paperwork

Skills required:
  • Good English
  • General offshore experience 1 year
  • Familiar with PC systems
  • Some mechanical / electrical background preferred
  • Self motivated
  • Accurate
  • Communication skills
  • Ability to work alone and to take individual responsibilities
  • No criminal record
